Pirelli Scorpion Winter +

The new Pirelli Scorpion Winter + tire from the Italian manufacturer is designed for installation on some passenger cars, including modern crossovers and SUVs. It is characterized by confident handling at speed, a developed water drainage system, and a short braking distance.

The tread pattern is a directional symmetric design with an abundance of block structures. Its central part features a wide rib formed by arrow-shaped blocks. This has achieved an improved handling performance, as well as a reduced braking distance (thanks to the numerous sharp edges of the blocks and the network of lamellas). The rubber compound contains silica components that maintain the elasticity of the tread at negative temperatures. In addition, they reduce the wear rate.

An important characteristic of the tire is its low noise level, which was achieved by optimizing the arrangement of the blocks and minimizing the formation of air turbulence.
