The summer passenger tire Pirelli PZero MGT is a great example of how sophisticated the efforts of marketers can be in promoting a particular product. This model received the MGT prefix in its name due to the presence of homologation from Maserati, which allowed it to be included in the primary equipment of cars of this Italian brand. Pirelli offers similar solutions for a number of other supercar manufacturers. Three rigid longitudinal ribs

All five longitudinal ribs of the PZero MGT are separated from each other by drainage grooves. They have a sufficiently large volume to provide very effective water removal from the contact patch. As a result, the tire demonstrates excellent resistance to aquaplaning even at very high speeds.
Asymmetric tread pattern with S-shaped design
This model is equipped with an asymmetric directional tread pattern, the distinctive feature of which is the original S-shaped design. The main advantage of such an arrangement of elements is the optimal distribution of external pressure over the contact patch, as well as the high resistance of the tire to dynamic deformation.
