Pirelli PZero Elect

The Pirelli PZero Elect summer tire is designed for use primarily in passenger cars with electric powertrains. It features improved traction during longitudinal accelerations, reduced rolling resistance, and a high level of acoustic comfort.

The tire's tread is made from a modified rubber compound that contains special polymers, which give the compound elasticity at the molecular level, allowing the tire to provide effective traction from the start, while maintaining high resistance to abrasive wear and prolonged thermal effects. Another feature is the use of a carcass with an optimized structure, which neutralizes the negative impact on traction and handling of the increased weight of electric vehicles, while also reducing the weight of the tire. In combination with the updated tread pattern, this has allowed for a 15% reduction in rolling resistance compared to standard PZero models.
