This model was one of the first to feature a two-layer tread. Its inner layer is made of a more elastic rubber compound, allowing the tire to effectively absorb a significant portion of minor road surface irregularities. Excellent grip on wet roads
The development of this tire utilized technologies previously tested in flagship models from the Pzero line. One of these is the symmetric tread pattern with four very voluminous drainage grooves. These grooves excel at diverting water from the contact patch, regardless of the amount. The efficiency of the drainage system was further enhanced by the curved shape and angled arrangement of the transverse grooves. As a result, the tire demonstrates very high resistance to aquaplaning.

Due to its continuous construction and massive size, this tread element improves directional stability, ensuring stable and reliable behavior at high speeds.
