Pirelli P3000

Released by the Italian tire giant, the Pirelli P3000 summer passenger tire is designed for installation on small and medium-sized passenger cars.

The design of the symmetrical tread pattern is developed with the aim of improving fuel efficiency without compromising other working characteristics of the tire.

To provide good traction on wet roads, the tire tread is equipped with one central and two side grooves of a stepped shape, which ensure water drainage from the contact patch of the tire. The zigzag-shaped blocks located on the tire tread maximize the contact patch, improve traction characteristics, and also give the tire elasticity under external load, which helps to reduce rolling resistance. The wide shoulder areas, divided into separate blocks by transverse grooves, reduce the deformation of the Pirelli P3000 tire when cornering, increase resistance to uneven wear, and their rounded profile reduces the tire's response time to steering wheel turns.

Thanks to the inclusion of silicon dioxide and synthetic polymers in the rubber compound, the Pirelli P3000 tire is characterized by a relatively small weight and high elasticity, which also leads to a reduction in rolling resistance and, consequently, to excellent fuel efficiency.
