All-season tire Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus II is designed for use in regions with moderately cold climate. It represents a touring tire, perfectly suited for long trips over long distances. It is characterized by directional stability at high speeds, reliable grip when maneuvering, comfort of control, smoothness of ride and increased service life.
The asymmetric tread pattern is a combination of numerous blocks. The elements are arranged in such a way that when moving, they form practically continuous transverse edges, thanks to which the tire on snow demonstrates high traction and braking intensity. A large number of lamellas enhances these properties. It is worth noting the presence of special grooves in the outer shoulder area, "activating" lamellas on the entire surface of the blocks, and not just on the part that comes into direct contact with the road surface. This feature significantly improves the coupling properties on slippery wet and snowy surfaces.
To a large extent, the versatility of the tire, the possibility of its operation, including in winter, is ensured by the characteristics of the rubber compound. Its composition uses so-called "silica", a fine-dispersed powder of silicon dioxide. This component prevents the tread from hardening at low temperatures, allowing the numerous edges of the elements of its pattern to more easily penetrate through the water film on the road surface. As a result, the coupling properties on snow and wet surfaces are improved.
