The symmetrical tread pattern has several longitudinal drainage channels for water removal from the contact patch. The surface of the wide central tread blocks is covered with curved grooves, improving acceleration characteristics and reducing braking distance on both dry and wet asphalt. The double central rib is constantly in contact with the road surface, providing steering sensitivity. Powerful shoulder blocks increase directional stability at high speeds. The original composition of the tread rubber compound allows reducing energy consumption and, thereby, reducing fuel consumption.
