Tread "Anatomy"
In the central part of the tread, three medium-sized longitudinal ribs are placed. They provide optimal stiffness — when turning, they work like a single stabilizing belt. Each rib is equipped with small diagonal notches that suppress resonant vibrations and create additional traction edges.
The central ribs are divided by four wide longitudinal channels. Their task is to quickly drain moisture. Even during heavy rain, the water film does not have time to lift the tire — hydroplaning is excluded. The stability of the traction characteristics is maintained in all driving modes.
Shoulder Areas
Here, wide shoulder areas with a solid structure but with diagonal semi-grooves were implemented. Thanks to this, they effectively adapt to the micro-profile of the road, increasing the actual contact patch. And also stabilize the car when performing maneuvers. This engineering solution increases stability in turns and reduces the risk of skidding on a wet surface.
