Aiming to provide the Ovation WV-03 tire with universality of application, Chinese tire manufacturers preferred to use one of the classic schemes for the arrangement of protector elements, grouped into 4 longitudinal ribs. This solution, widely used on models for commercial vehicles, provided the tire with a number of important advantages. First of all, this is increased wear resistance, ensured by the reduced number of protector elements, which allows optimal distribution of pressure over the contact patch.

Another advantage of this arrangement of protector elements is the large area of the contact patch. This was achieved by maximizing their size. Thanks to this design feature, the tire demonstrates excellent traction on asphalt.

High resistance to splashing and aquaplaning

Among other features of the protector pattern of this tire is the presence of a large number of drainage channels. Their size is such that they do not retain not only excess moisture but also much heavier masses of meltwater. Due to this, reliable behavior is ensured during thaws.
