The tread pattern is distinguished by an asymmetric arrangement of elements. Most of them are numerous blocks and lamellas that form elongated transverse edges. To a large extent, it is this that determines the braking efficiency demonstrated by this tire on wet surfaces. Another factor that improves the performance of the tire in such conditions is the rubber compound used in the manufacture of its tread. Its composition is distinguished by a combination of a large amount of "silica" and polymeric components, which provides optimal elasticity over a wide temperature range, including "near-zero" marks on the thermometer. This allows the tread to fit the unevenness of the road surface much more tightly, increasing the grip properties, especially on wet surfaces. An important feature is the arrangement of the elements of the tread pattern with a certain pitch. This increases the useful area of the running part, improving traction and handling, reduces its wear, and also prevents the occurrence of resonant noises and vibrations, increasing the acoustic comfort inside the car.
