It limits the mobility of the blocks in the transverse direction, which enhances stability during maneuvering, and also optimizes the distribution of external load on the tire's contact patch with the road. This reduces the level of abrasive impact on the tread, slowing down its wear rate.
Closed design of shoulder areas
A significant part of the tread area is allocated to the shoulder areas. These are two longitudinal rows of massive blocks rigidly connected to each other by special bridges. This gives the entire shoulder area high resistance to deformation, which positively affects traction, both during maneuvering and longitudinal acceleration.
