On both sides of the central rib, the developers placed a large number of blocks with massive sizes and complex shapes with multiple facets. The combination of these design features also allows these tread elements to perform several functions at once. First and foremost, this is increased traction and passability on snow. This property was further improved due to the increased distance between the blocks. At the same time, the arrangement of drainage grooves between them, counter to the direction of movement, provides for the rapid and efficient removal of snow slush and dirt from the contact patch.

The tread of this model is equipped with several "tools" that provide the tire with reliable traction on icy surfaces. First and foremost, these are the studs, which are arranged in such a way that they form many continuous "anti-skid chains".
