The Orium Winter LT 201 winter tire is designed for commercial vehicles based on compact passenger cars. It features improved traction on snowy and icy surfaces, increased strength and carrying capacity, acoustic comfort, and a long service life.
The tread pattern is distinguished by an S-shaped design, in which the blocks form virtually continuous transverse traction edges. These increase the traction and braking effort on snow. Cross-shaped grooves throughout the tread additionally enhance traction in such conditions. Stability on icy surfaces is provided by numerous lamellas. Narrow slits have a wavy shape, which increases the stability of the blocks against deformation, increasing the accuracy of control when changing the direction of movement.
