The Onyx NY-20 summer commercial tire is designed for vans, small-capacity trucks used in urban and regional transportation. It stands out with improved traction properties on wet pavement, driving comfort, fuel efficiency, and extended service life.
The tread pattern is designed in a closed design, borrowed from commercial tires for large-capacity trucks. Four continuous longitudinal ribs provide reduced rolling resistance, preventing rapid wear of the tread, increasing course stability and steering accuracy at high speeds. At the edges, the ribs have a larger width, which improves traction during maneuvering, achieving more even and slower wear of the tread. It's worth noting the zigzag shape of the longitudinal grooves, the walls of which provide stability of traction properties even on dirt roads. Another such feature is the special notches on the edges of the tread, which also improve the tire's performance in such conditions. The next important distinction is the carcass. Its combined structure, where synthetic cord is used along with a full-metal one, provides the tire with significant carrying capacity and resistance to aggressive impact.
