The tread pattern is designed in a closed design typical of commercial tires. The increased stiffness of the longitudinal ribs enhances directional stability during straight-line driving, reduces rolling resistance, and provides wear resistance. The massiveness of the elements increases the contact patch, which has a positive effect on handling on dry surfaces. In rainy conditions, efficiency is maintained by wide drainage grooves and wavy lamellas cut into the ribs throughout the circumference.
