Description Омск ИД-П284
The Omsk ID-P284 cargo tire is installed on any axis of the Ural cargo truck, as well as on special equipment based on it. It is designed for operation off paved roads. It is characterized by excellent passability, reliability and long service life for its segment.
Enclosed design of the central part of the tread
One of the distinctive features of the tire tread is its sufficiently enclosed central part design. This is due to the developers' desire to provide balanced operational properties, one of which is traction and reduced rolling resistance on paved roads. It is for this reason that the blocks in the central part of the tread are arranged at a minimum distance from each other and have a diamond shape.
Off-road grips in the shoulder areas
The tire tread in the shoulder areas is noticeably different from the central part. The blocks located here are spaced at a significant distance from each other and are combined with each other and with the central elements into groups. This design provides a contact patch with very long transverse traction edges. Their height is sufficient for the tire to effectively grip even wet, water-eroded soil. At the same time, the problem of "clogging" of the tread is solved by the huge distance between the shoulder blocks, thanks to which it does not get clogged with soil particles. Another feature of this part of the tread pattern is the presence of chamfers on the sidewalls, which further improve off-road capability.
Main features of Omsk ID-P284
- designed for Ural cargo trucks, including special equipment based on them;
- dense arrangement of blocks in the central part improves traction and directional stability, reduces rolling resistance on hard road surfaces;
- high off-road grips in the shoulder areas provide excellent passability on low-bearing soil.
