Novion SS-152 — rear motorcycle tire designed specifically for motocross bikes used exclusively on off-road tracks, closed circuits, and in competition conditions. Thanks to the carefully selected geometry and optimized contact patch, the model demonstrates predictable traction during acceleration, braking, and deep lean angles.

Isolated blocks — traction system

The pattern is executed according to the classic motocross scheme — large isolated elements with an aggressive tread. The central ones have a trapezoidal shape with an increased support area. They are responsible for directional stability during straight-line acceleration. The shoulder blocks are massive, with a reinforced base. Their inclined geometry is designed for operation during tilts. When entering a turn, it is they who create a support wall, preventing the wheel from skidding.

Self-cleaning

The inter-block grooves have a significant depth in the central zone and expand towards the shoulders. This shape creates a centrifugal pump effect: when the wheel rotates, dirt, dust, and small stones are squeezed out.

Rubber compound

The hardness index of the compound is medium-soft. This is a deliberate choice of engineers for mixed terrain. The elasticity of the rubber ensures adaptation to ground irregularities, increasing the area of actual contact. On dry and slightly damp surfaces, the mixture retains an increased coefficient of friction. At the same time, the wear resistance is sufficient for several racing starts without wear of the elements.
