The Nordman 1 winter tire is designed for use in the harsh winter climate of Northern Europe, Russia, and Canada. It is characterized by improved traction properties on snow-covered roads, low noise levels, and a long service life.

The tread pattern features the use of several types of lamellas. Special slits are located on the outside. These elements improve cross-country traction on slippery roads, ensuring directional stability and stability during maneuvering. The inner lamellas increase the efficiency of the tire's operation during acceleration and deceleration. At the same time, they give the blocks in which they are cut a small mobility, sufficient to additionally optimize the load distribution in the contact area. This significantly reduces the rate of tread wear.
