Nordman 5 (Нешип)

The non-studded version of the Nordman 5 winter tire stands out for its high efficiency on winter roads, while also providing a significantly better level of acoustic comfort. The manufacturer has retained the possibility of installing studs, providing special holes for this purpose.

One of the key design features of the tread is the arrow-shaped form of the central rib. This element, thanks to its monolithic structure, increases the accuracy of handling and directional stability, reducing rolling resistance. The presence of transverse edges on it further improves the efficiency of the tread during acceleration. Large blocks are located near the rib. The complex shape of these elements increases the number and length of the edges formed by them, which not only increases the traction force but also the stability of the grip properties on snow. On icy and wet surfaces, the tire's efficiency is ensured by numerous wavy lamellas and special grooves in the shoulder blocks.
