Nokian W+
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Nokian W+
The Nokian W+ winter tire is designed for a wide range of passenger cars. It is recommended by the manufacturer for use in areas with so-called "European winters". The model is distinguished by improved traction properties on wet surfaces and rolled snow.
The tread pattern has a directional design with a characteristic arrow-shaped rib in the middle, typical of this manufacturer's winter tires. This element increases stability and steering precision at high speeds, as well as traction properties on slippery surfaces. The blocks located nearby, having elongated transverse edges, allow for effective implementation of traction and intense braking on snow. On surfaces with a very low coefficient of friction, stability is ensured by numerous lamellas and increased elasticity of the rubber compound based on natural rubber and silicon dioxide.
Main features:
- the arrow-shaped rib in the middle improves steering precision and course stability at high speeds, traction properties on slippery surfaces, reduces rolling resistance and wear;
- elongated transverse edges of blocks provide excellent traction on snow;
- numerous lamellas and "winter" rubber compound increase the "grip" of the tire on rolled snow and wet pavement.

Really good tires! Really good tires, I was skeptical at first but I was pleasantly surprised, the quality/price ratio is high, having tried a good year on Kumho and Yokohama I can say that the impact is big, they cost less, and they're better! Especially on the roads, when it's raining a lot they're much better than Goodyear, Yokohama, the highest tread, and they consume less in rush hour! I'm really happy that I made

Purchased these tyres from eiretyre.com at the start of the coldest and longest period of snow on record in Ireland. Excellent tyres for travel, 4x4 on allseasons on fresh and packed snow. This is a winter tyre and as soon as the temperature rises above 5 or 6 degrees they tend to move around a bit when cornering. Overall, excellent tyres and service from eiretyres.

I think I've made a mistake..... some knowledgeable people warned me about it....
.....I've been driving for 4 days...there was no snow yet...I don't know how it will be in the future, but so far it's not bad on dry and wet asphalt...but what's disturbing is that it's Russian-made, and as the sellers who deal with Nokian claim, even if it says Made in Finland, it's made in China, and they even
