Winter studded tires Hakkapeliitta LT2, like other representatives of this tire family, are distinguished by excellent traction on any winter road, as well as excellent wear resistance.

This model is one of the novelties of the upcoming winter season and is designed for high-cross vehicles and minivans. The tire design was developed taking into account the large mass of vehicles in these categories. In particular, the metal cord breakers were additionally reinforced in the shoulder areas of the tire. In addition, the production of breakers used 60% more steel cord than conventional passenger tires. Another innovation was the rubber compound, the modified composition of which provided greater resistance to punctures, cuts and tears.

In addition to the reinforced design, this model has excellent traction and directional stability on any winter surface. Much of this was achieved thanks to the aggressive design of the central part of the tread pattern. The tread of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT2 tire is equipped with numerous lamellas, which, when in contact with the road surface, create many additional sharp edges of traction. At the same time, the large width and depth of the grooves allow for quick and efficient cleaning of the tire's contact patch from heavy snow masses, as well as from water during thaws.

The tread pattern contains massive long blocks that extend from the shoulder areas to the center. This solution significantly improved handling and directional stability on icy and snowy roads. At the same time, the large number of these blocks forms many sharp edges, which had a positive effect on traction indicators. In addition, the tread contains special "activators" of lamellas, which increase the efficiency of these thin slits, which additionally gives the tire reliability and stability in rapidly changing conditions.
