The winter studded tire Nokian Hakkapeliitta C Van is specifically designed for passenger vans and is an improved version of this Finnish manufacturer's most famous winter tire. Thanks to its release in the most common sizes, ranging from 14 to 16 inches, this model is perfect for most modern vans.

Like other tires in the Hakkapeliitta line, the symmetrical directional tread pattern of this model features a V-shaped design, consisting of five longitudinal ribs, including both shoulder areas. This type of tread pattern provides the most even distribution of load across the contact patch, making the tire's grip on the surface stable and reliable in any conditions. Thanks to the large number of gripping edges formed by both the tread blocks and the numerous zigzag-shaped lamellas on their surface, excellent traction characteristics are ensured on snowy and icy surfaces.

One of the key features of this model is the original quadrangular shape of the steel stud core and the lower flange of the stud. At the same time, the studs are installed in a diamond pattern relative to the direction of movement, which makes it possible to provide excellent grip in all directions. Like other tires in the Hakkapeliitta line, the studs of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta C Van model are equipped with wear indicators that disappear after approximately 500 km of mileage.

When developing the carcass, Finnish tire engineers took into account the specifics of using this tire on vans. As a result, the tire received a multi-layer carcass with a steel breaker, borrowed from other tires designed for light trucks. Thanks to this solution, it was possible to provide the tire with the necessary strength while maintaining excellent elasticity. In addition, the tire was equipped with a special sealing ring, which is designed to prevent dirt from entering between the tire and the wheel disk.
