Description Nokian Hakkapeliitta C
The Nokian Hakkapeliitta C studded tire, produced by the very popular Finnish manufacturer among domestic car enthusiasts, was specifically designed for commercial vehicles operated in harsh winter conditions. This model, which exists both with and without studs, is produced in 18 of the most common sizes, ranging from 175/65R14 to 226/65R16, which allows us to talk about excellent applicability to a huge number of modern minivan and light truck models.
Like other representatives of the Hakkapeliitta model range, this tire is equipped with a tread having a V-shaped symmetrical directional pattern, consisting of five longitudinal ribs. The V-shaped design has a number of advantages, some of which are very valuable for tires intended for commercial transport. In particular, this scheme of arranging tread elements provides a very even distribution of load over the contact patch, which has a positive effect on the durability of the entire Nokian Hakkapeliitta C tire. In addition, this feature helps to increase the area of the contact patch and maintain it at a stable level, which significantly improves traction on various types of surfaces. At the same time, due to the numerous sharp edges of the tread blocks, excellent traction indicators are provided when moving on slippery surfaces.
In the center of the tread, the Finnish tire manufacturers placed a solid longitudinal rib with zigzag edges and a rigid structure. Thanks to this technical solution, the tire demonstrates excellent directional stability when moving on snow and ice, as well as high braking efficiency.
