Each of the three asymmetric and stylish tread pattern components of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta Green 3 plays a unique role. The tightly interlocked tread blocks stabilise handling and provide precise handling. The Active Hydro Zone in the centre of the tread enhances excellent grip and control both on dry and wet roads. Specialised lugs accumulate and effectively remove water from the contact patch between the tyre and the road, and provide excellent aquaplaning resistance and grip on wet roads even when worn.

Hakka Green Hybrid tread compound is extremely durable, low rolling resistance and capable of handling all the unpredictable changes of the northern summer. The silica compound adapts to changing temperatures, providing excellent grip on wet roads in the spring and autumn. The eco-friendly compound is made from 100% natural components combined with polymers, reducing rolling resistance and promoting extreme elasticity. This means the tire confidently handles rough roads.

When a river of water flows along a curved surface, it strives to follow its shape. This phenomenon is known as the Coanda effect. In case of a tire meeting a large volume of water than it can remove from the contact patch, the Coanda effect leads to aquaplaning. Nokian Tyres Coanda technology increases water drainage and effectively prevents aquaplaning.

The Nokian Hakka Green 3 features a safety indicator (DSI) that allows the driver to monitor when it is time to change the tire. The indicator shows the remaining tread depth in millimeters as the tire wears. The numbers fade gradually from the tire in descending order as the tire wears.

    Nokian Hakka Green 3 195/65/15. I thought I would write a review in a month or a year and a half, but force majeure forced me to do it earlier. In general, the tires are very pleasing in their properties, they handle well, there is almost no noise, they work well on uneven roads, and it's simply great to drive in the rain. I bought them for my Kia Cerato 2007 on a trip, and

    I use tires in the size 205/55/16. Previously, I drove the same size with Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 and 6, Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance.
    The Hakka Green 3 has only two advantages over them - they are very quiet and cheap (I paid 21,000 for 4 wheels, in June 2023).
    And now about the disadvantages:
    - in the rain, the behavior is terrible (where the Premium Contact 5 passed at 120, the Green 3 floats at 80)
    - braking on wet asphalt often leads to the ABS kicking in
    - braking on dry asphalt is extremely weak, the tire starts to squeal like old Zhiguli brakes (this hasn't happened with other brands, even in emergency situations)
    - they hold the road straight, but somehow uncertainly, due to the soft sidewall, they don't like the ruts that are on all Russian roads.
    I will definitely not buy these tires again and do not recommend them to anyone! If you need good noise reduction and a wet tire, take the ContiPremiumContact 5! (The 6th generation behaves much worse, unfortunately, I was disappointed when I installed it)

    It was purchased in the spring of 2023, the first kilometers were complete silence, softness, comfort in one word. Subsequently, the rubber swallowed stones and the ride became similar to a spike, regularly dug it out of stones to drive comfortably, I relate too nervously to such discomfort. The rubber is incredibly soft, due to this it wears out perfectly, over a distance of 10,000 km in one season, about 30% was gone, sadly, there are no words. Rolling on the road, the handling leaves much to be desired, but I compare it to the Spanish bear of 2013, in general, it's an excellent option for a comfortable ride. Pay attention to the colossal weak sidewall, one touch of the curb ended with a side cord patch... In general, it's not designed for speed, you don't feel 100% confident driving the car.
