The summer commercial tire Nokian Hakka C Van is one of the novelties of the renowned Finnish manufacturer. The key feature of this model is that it was developed using the same technological solutions and materials that were applied in the construction of tires for SUVs and crossovers. One of the results of this approach was excellent handling even with a large load on the vehicle, as well as excellent acoustic comfort and wear resistance.
Asymmetric tread pattern
One of the technologies "borrowed" from passenger models is the asymmetric tread pattern, which consists of several functional zones. Each of them improves certain operational properties, which is why this model has virtually no drawbacks in terms of handling and traction. If we talk briefly about the purpose of each functional zone, the outer side of the tread provides directional stability and stability of traction properties when braking, and the inner side improves resistance to aquaplaning and traction when accelerating.
High reliability
Another characteristic feature of this model is the increased level of reliability. A significant part of it is ensured by a special sealing ring located on the rim of the tire. It does not allow dirt and small objects to enter the space between the tire and the wheel disc. This minimizes the appearance of damage and, at the same time, increases the lifespan of both the tire and the wheel disc.
Wavy profile of the drainage grooves
The longitudinal drainage groove located in the center of the tread pattern has a rather unusual design. Its bottom has a wavy profile. The numerous "swells" reduce the transverse mobility of the tread ribs adjacent to this groove, which, in turn, improves directional stability and prevents the occurrence and development of uneven wear.
