The tire's tread uses two rubber compounds. The running part is made of a compound with higher elasticity and thermal conductivity. These properties improve traction on wet surfaces and reduce rolling resistance. In turn, the inner layer of the tread is made of a less elastic compound. It provides protection against punctures and cuts, stable behavior at high speeds, and resistance to uneven wear.

The central rib of the tread contains an indicator that indicates its remaining depth in millimeters, as well as a drop symbol. Its disappearance means that you should move with particular caution on wet surfaces.
