The asymmetric tread pattern features four longitudinal grooves in the center. These elements, having a significant internal volume, effectively drain water from the contact patch. A significant portion of it is discharged through the inner side of the tread, where diagonal grooves are located. They are inclined and directed against the direction of movement, which substantially increases their throughput and, as a result, prevents aquaplaning.

Increased contact patch

The tire is characterized by an increased contact patch. Its area is due to several design features. First of all, these are the massive sizes of the tread elements - longitudinal ribs and blocks. Additionally, the tread profile has been optimized accordingly. When loaded, the contact area with the road expands and takes on a rectangular shape, optimal in terms of handling, traction, and rolling resistance.

Low noise level

Despite its obvious "speed" orientation, the tire demonstrates a good level of acoustic comfort. To achieve this, several solutions have been applied. In particular, the side walls of the drainage grooves have a serrated profile, which reduces high-frequency sound vibrations from air flows. In turn, the multi-step arrangement of the tread blocks prevents resonant low-frequency rumble.
