The winter tire Nexen Winguard Snow G, first introduced to the market in 2012 by the Korean manufacturer Nexen-Roadstone, is designed for small and medium-sized passenger cars that primarily operate within city limits. The tires have various speed indicators - T and H and are available in various sizes for wheels with 14, 15, and 16-inch diameters.
Special rubber compound
The unique rubber compound with a high content of rubber and the presence of silica, used in the manufacture of these tires, allows maintaining a high level of elasticity even at extremely low temperatures. At the same time, the innovative composition of the mixture significantly improves the quality of road grip and braking characteristics.
Asymmetric tread pattern
The tread pattern of the Nexen Winguard Snow G tires provides high maneuverability of the vehicle and its increased course stability not only on dry, but also on slippery and snowy roads. This is ensured by the use of three wide grooves designed to drain water and protect the vehicle from aquaplaning, as well as an innovative lamination scheme. The lamination scheme in these tires is distinguished by the arrangement of lames at different angles on the tire tread, which increases the quality of road grip and braking characteristics, including on frozen and snowy road surfaces.
The presence of smooth lines in the tread allows reducing noise effects when driving a vehicle and increasing the service life of the tires.
The use of a unique studding scheme in the tires provides better grip with icy and slippery road surfaces. The use of a five-stage tread contributes to reducing noise effects when driving, thereby increasing its comfort.
