Description Nexen N9000
Nexen N9000 tires represent a unique summer tire designed for high-speed passenger vehicles. That's why the speed index of these tires is 270 km/h, which is comparable to the speed index of motorcycle tires.
Tread pattern
This type of tire is equipped with a highly original asymmetric and directional tread pattern. In the central part of the Nexen N9000 tires, there are three longitudinal rings surrounded by four straight longitudinal drainage channels. This arrangement, shape, and size of the channels contribute to improved water flow in the contact patch, especially at high speeds, which improves aquaplaning performance. On the sides of the channels, innovative Z-shaped lamellas are located. They provide better drainage compared to the lamellas used in earlier models and guarantee better vehicle traction on the road surface, even on wet surfaces.
Handling and stability
The quiet ride and improved handling were achieved by optimizing the central block of the tire. Longitudinal strips separated by thin drainage grooves allow for optimal traction conditions in the contact patch. Additionally, this tire model features a low profile, which has improved the vehicle's stability when driving at high speeds.
Another point to note is the wider shoulders of the sidewalls of this tire model. The increase in this parameter has allowed for improved vehicle stability on the road, avoiding the appearance of side skids and providing stability when cornering, even at high speeds.
Rubber compound
The rubber mixture used in the production of Nexen N9000 tires includes a range of components that provide softness and wear resistance of the product. Additionally, innovative developments in this area have allowed for even distribution of pressure, which contributes to even wear of the tire and extends its service life.
