Excellent directional stability

Since the Nexen CP672 tire was initially created for quite fast passenger cars, it's no wonder that its creators tried to provide high directional stability indicators. This desire can be explained by the presence of a double longitudinal rib in the central part of the tread, the stiffness of which allows it to successfully withstand even very strong dynamic deformations. In addition, the rigid design of this rib has provided the tire with almost sporty handling with clear and transparent reactions to steering wheel turns.

High resistance to aquaplaning

This indicator is also at a very high level, thanks to the excellent performance of the drainage system. Its main components are four longitudinal drainage grooves, the dimensions of which allow them to accommodate a sufficient amount of water, thereby reducing the risk of aquaplaning. And the inclusion of silica in the rubber compound has made the grip with a wet road more reliable.

Increased stiffness of the shoulder areas of the tread

To increase stability when cornering, Korean tire manufacturers have maximally increased the size of the shoulder areas of the tread, dividing them into separate blocks. The created edges of the contact patch in combination with the stiffness of the blocks themselves have made it possible to significantly reduce the braking distance. In addition, the increased size and stiffness have provided not only an increase in the contact patch area but also higher resistance to uneven wear.
