Additionally, it is impossible not to note the special shape of the walls of these lamellas, which allows them to be tightly fixed to each other when in contact with the road. As a result, the rigidity of the tread blocks is significantly increased. This made it possible to significantly increase the number of lamellas without compromising handling on dry asphalt, thereby improving traction on snow and ice.
