Description Москва М-293
Summer passenger tire Moscow M-293 is produced in one single size 205/65 R15, being designed for GAZ-3105 cars, which are no longer in production. Among other key features of this model, it is worth noting quite high technical characteristics, which is confirmed by the speed index H assigned to it. Also, it is impossible not to mention the traditional attractive cost of domestic tire products, which, in combination with good fuel economy, provides this tire with low operating costs.
Double longitudinal rib
When driving, the Moscow M-293 model demonstrates excellent directional stability, as well as very fast and accurate reactions to steering wheel turns. These capabilities have appeared due to the special structure of the central part of the tread. Here, there is a double longitudinal rib, consisting of two separate elements separated by a wide drainage groove. Due to the absence of any breaks throughout its length, it is highly resistant to dynamic deformation, which, in turn, provides the tire with all the above-mentioned features.
S-shaped design of the tread pattern
Another characteristic feature of this model is the S-shaped design of its symmetrical non-directional tread pattern. It is formed by very long drainage grooves that start in the central part and end in the shoulder areas of the tread. During driving, they form extended edges of adhesion, thanks to which the tire demonstrates excellent traction and adhesion properties in the longitudinal direction.
Main features of the Moscow M-293 tire
- the original S-shaped design of the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern provides stable and reliable adhesion regardless of weather and road conditions;
- the wide double longitudinal rib in the central part of the tread improves directional stability and increases maneuverability;
- massive shoulder areas provide confident behavior when performing sharp maneuvers;
- the open design of the shoulder areas, due to the high content of transverse edges, reduces the braking distance, especially on wet roads;
- a significant part of the adhesion edges is located at a significant angle relative to the direction of movement, which substantially reduces rolling resistance.
