Description Москва М-244
The Moscow M-244 summer passenger tire was initially designed with the constructive features of compact passenger cars of domestic production in mind. However, its high operational qualities make it possible to use this model on more powerful and high-speed analogs of foreign production.
Aggressive V-shaped tread pattern
A significant part of the excellent operational qualities of this model is ensured by the high performance of the symmetrical directional tread pattern. Its advantage is a rather aggressive V-shaped design. It is formed by arrow-shaped blocks, the curved edges of which converge in the central part of the tread, forming a wide longitudinal rib.
The presence of such a rigid element in the central part of the tread gives the tire a whole range of important qualities. The most important of these is the refined handling, which is ensured by precise and rapid reactions to steering wheel turns. In addition, it is impossible not to note the reduction of rolling resistance and course stability, which is also largely due to the rigid central rib.
Excellent traction and coupling properties in the longitudinal direction
The aforementioned tread blocks are distinguished by massive sizes, thanks to which they form very long coupling edges. At the same time, all of them are located predominantly transversely, which allows the tire to demonstrate excellent performance during acceleration and braking. These properties are further enhanced by numerous wavy lamellas located on the surface of each block.
Main features of the Moscow M-244 tire
- the original V-shaped design of the symmetrical directional tread pattern is distinguished by excellent performance in any weather and road conditions;
- very low rolling resistance due to the rigid central rib and reduced number of separate tread elements;
- sporty refined handling is ensured by rapid and precise reactions to steering wheel turns;
- excellent coupling due to massive blocks and a multitude of wavy lamellas cut through the entire depth of the tread;
- excellent resistance to aquaplaning is ensured by a large number of wide and deep drainage grooves located in the shoulder areas of the tread.
