Description Москва М-224
The Moscow M-224 summer tire is one of the attempts by a well-known domestic manufacturer to create a high-quality "rain" tire, which they have fully succeeded in. It is distinguished by excellent traction properties, primarily on wet roads. Such features are not characteristic of every tire in the so-called "economy class". In addition, it's worth noting the very attractive cost, which makes the purchase even more beneficial.
Exceptional resistance to aquaplaning
A significant part of the excellent traction properties on wet roads is achieved due to the magnificent resistance of the Moscow M-224 tire to aquaplaning. These capabilities have appeared in it thanks to the aggressive design of the symmetrical directional tread pattern. It contains a fairly developed drainage system. One of its main components is a very wide longitudinal groove located directly in the center of the tread and dividing it into two equal parts. It acts as a water accumulator, which is removed from the contact patch through numerous transverse channels. At the same time, they have a curved shape and are arranged against the direction of movement, which many times increases the speed of water circulation through them.
Excellent traction in any conditions
The above-mentioned drainage grooves divide the tread into separate blocks. They are distinguished by quite massive dimensions, which made it possible to provide the contact patch with very long edges of adhesion. Additionally, they are formed by numerous lamellas of a wavy shape, cut through the entire depth of the tread. Since all of them are located predominantly transversely, the tire demonstrates excellent traction properties in the longitudinal direction, i.e. during acceleration and braking.
Main features of the Moscow M-224 tire
- the aggressive V-shaped design of the symmetrical directional tread pattern is distinguished by excellent performance in any road and weather conditions;
- exceptional resistance to aquaplaning is provided by a very efficient drainage system with a wide longitudinal groove in the center of the tread and numerous transverse channels, the arrangement and shape of which contribute to a multiple increase in the speed of water circulation through them;
- massive blocks provide excellent traction properties in the longitudinal direction, as well as excellent stability when making sharp maneuvers.
