The commercial tire Mirage MR-W600 in the studded version is designed for long and intense operation, primarily on urban highways. It is characterized by increased traction and coupling properties on wet and snowy roads, "passenger" handling, smooth ride and acoustic comfort.
The tread pattern is a combination of blocks that form four wide longitudinal ribs when moving. Such a layout, in combination with a practically flat profile of the tread, expands the contact patch, leveling the pressure on it. This largely explains the "passenger" character of handling, as well as reduces tread wear. Another feature is the presence of a large number of lamellas and their location, which lengthens the saw-toothed edges they form. This significantly increases traction and braking properties on slippery surfaces.
