The commercial tire Michelin X WORKS HD Z can be installed on any axle. It is adapted for transportation on various types of unpaved surfaces. In motion, it is characterized by high traction and directional stability on surfaces with low bearing capacity and friction coefficient.
The high reliability of the tire off the paved roads is largely due to the reinforced carcass made of all-steel cord, as well as the reinforcement of the sidewalls and the use of a special compound in their manufacture. This means that protection against aggressive mechanical impact is ensured from all sides.
The tread area of the tire is made in an aggressive V-shaped design with numerous blocks. The central part is formed from small elements. The dense arrangement reduces rolling resistance, increases handling precision, and directional stability. The enlarged shoulder blocks with a high edge height provide high traction on unpaved surfaces. The increased width of the grooves between them allows the tread to intensively self-clean from stones and small particles, maintaining its effectiveness on unpaved roads.
