The all-season Michelin Weatherwise tire is suitable for most passenger cars. It is recommended by the manufacturer for use in areas with so-called "European" winters. It is characterized by improved traction properties on wet and snowy roads.
The tread pattern is distinguished by a large number of gripping edges. Most of them are formed by lamellas. Narrow slits, mainly arranged transversely, increase the effectiveness of the tread when accelerating and braking on surfaces with a reduced coefficient of friction. On dry, clean pavement, the reliability of the traction properties is achieved by optimizing the tread pattern and the profile of the tire's tread, which increases the contact patch and ensures its stability when subjected to multidirectional acceleration forces.
