Description Michelin Weatherwise II
The Michelin Weatherwise II all-season tire is recommended by the manufacturer for year-round use in areas with so-called "warm" winters. It is characterized by high efficiency on slippery wet and snowy surfaces.
The tread pattern is distinguished by a large number of transverse traction edges. This allows for intense acceleration and deceleration on wet pavement and snow. The increased volume of longitudinal water drainage grooves reduces the risk of aquaplaning and slushplaning. The distribution of tread elements across rows reduces rolling resistance, and in combination with their stiffness, increases directional stability and handling accuracy. The optimized tread profile, its increased width, and the use of a special rubber compound with high wear resistance ensure a long tire life.
Key features:
- a large number of transverse traction edges increases traction and deceleration intensity on slippery surfaces;
- increased drainage grooves effectively combat aquaplaning and slushplaning;
- a rubber compound with increased wear resistance and an optimized tread profile increase the tire's lifespan.
