Against their background, it stands out with increased performance on loose unstable coatings, being close to the All Terrain category tires in this ability. From them, in turn, it differs in much better fuel efficiency, quieter and smoother ride on paved roads.

To a large extent, such operational properties are achieved due to the design of the tread pattern. It is a combination of numerous blocks that form a large number of differently directed edges and are separated by fairly wide grooves. This significantly increases the traction properties, both on wet paved roads and on unstable loose soil surfaces. Another feature of the pattern is the distribution of blocks along the longitudinal ribs. In addition, in the central part, they partially overlap each other due to their location and shape. As a result, on any hard and relatively even surfaces, the rolling resistance decreases, the process of abrasive wear of the tread slows down, and at high speed, the stability of the traction properties and the accuracy of control when changing the trajectory of movement are added to this.

Another feature of the tire is the use of the Comfort Control technology in it. Its essence lies in the use of computer simulation tools to find the optimal shapes, sizes, and locations of the tread pattern elements to minimize the noise and vibrations generated by them when moving, primarily on so-called "rough" asphalt. As an additional measure to enhance this ability, high-quality production and control are used.

The next important difference of this tire is the characteristics of the rubber compound used in its manufacture. At the time of its debut in the line of models of the French brand, it belonged to a new generation of compounds, where advanced technologies and materials were used. First of all, these are polymeric compounds that provide uniformity of the rubber compound at the molecular level, increasing its resistance to tearing and stretching while maintaining optimal elasticity over a wide temperature range, as well as reducing its heating during prolonged and intense loads on the tire.
