Michelin Primacy SUV

The Michelin Primacy SUV summer tire is designed for crossovers and SUVs that are mainly used on paved roads. It stands out for its improved traction properties and handling on wet surfaces, braking efficiency, high level of acoustic comfort, and long service life.

The tire uses the 2nd iteration of the FlexMax technology. The technical solution is implemented in the form of several components of the tread pattern. One of them is the blocks with a bevel on the edges. This increases the contact area with the road surface, improving traction with it. Another part of the FlexMax technology is the Stabiligrip lamellas. The narrow slits have zigzag edges that limit the mobility of the blocks under the influence of lateral acceleration forces. This increases directional stability and precision in handling, especially when maneuvering on wet surfaces. The next component of the FlexMax technology is the rubber compound. Its composition is characterized by an ultra-high content of "silica" and the presence of special polymers. Such a compound possesses not only elasticity but also increased strength and resistance to rupture and stretching. The more flexible tread allows the tire to more closely hug the irregularities of the road surface, ensuring reliable traction with it.
