The summer tire Michelin Primacy 4J is oriented towards owners of passenger cars. The model stands out for its increased stability on wet asphalt, as well as the preservation of working characteristics at the same level throughout the entire tread life.
Such indicators were achieved through the use of special technologies. The asymmetric non-directional tread contains two types of lamellas on its surface. Some have a rectangular profile, while others have a trapezoidal one. This solution allowed for more effective removal of moisture from the contact area, including in conditions of significant tire wear. To this, it is worth adding the presence of special elastomers in the compound, which fully reveal their action on wet asphalt, firmly fixing the tire. Several longitudinal channels and the lamellas opening in them contribute to the rapid drying of the contact area with the road surface. At the same time, the braking and acceleration indicators are significantly improved.
