The compound used here has several important differences in physical and chemical properties, due to the fact that the tire can be used after a loss of air. The tread is made of a rubber compound that includes special polymeric additives, which increase wear resistance and prevent overheating due to increased rolling resistance in a deflated tire.

The tire is characterized by its quick and precise response to driver actions. These properties are achieved largely due to the design of the carcass, which deforms in a certain way under the influence of multidirectional acceleration forces. They are transmitted extremely quickly to the steering wheel, providing the driver with very clear feedback.
