Michelin Pilot Primacy HP is a summer tire for passenger cars of the "Prestige" and "Comfort" classes. This model is designed for high-speed driving and provides a high level of comfort and handling, including when driving on wet roads. One of its main features is a 25% increase in mileage compared to competitors - this is not just words, but statistics backed by an independent study conducted by TUV, a company that controls product quality. That's why this tire has received high praise from many automakers.
Another improvement of this model is the shortened braking distance. It is two meters shorter than that of its predecessor, the Michelin Pilot Primacy. This became possible thanks to the unique design of the tread pattern, which increased the contact patch with the road surface - the pressure inside the tread is distributed over its entire area, and the braking distance is reduced. Also, the tread consists of elements of different stiffness, which improves the contact of the tire with the road, and the tire has excellent grip and superb handling.
But that's not all the features of this tire. Michelin Pilot Primacy HP is based on three "whales". The first is the ASM method: A - Architecture, S - Structure, M - Materials. This technology combines the properties of these three elements of the tire, ensuring a balance of characteristics and, as a result, better operating characteristics.
The second is the BSW method, which involves a balance between the flexibility of the tire and its stiffness. A flexible structure allows the tire to change shape, increasing the contact patch. But at the same time, stiffness guarantees efficient tire operation.
And the third "whale" is the components that make up the rubber mixture of the tread - Full Silice (silicon dioxide) and ElastoSPORT, which enhance grip.
In addition, the positive features of Michelin Pilot Primacy HP include directional stability when driving in a straight line, which became possible due to the central rib of the tire, as well as the absence of aquaplaning on wet roads. Four longitudinal ring channels and a multitude of transverse grooves prevent this. This system quickly and efficiently removes moisture from the contact patch with the road surface.
In summary, it should be said that this tire is not in vain marked by many manufacturers. Comfort during high-speed driving in warm weather is guaranteed to its owner.
