Michelin MXTE – energy-efficient summer tire for passenger vehicles, which is a continuation of the famous line from the French manufacturer. The model has improved traction characteristics on wet roads and increased ride comfort level.

In the central zone of the tread, there is a double rib with numerous diagonal notches and lamellas. Thanks to it, a high level of vehicle stability was achieved when moving in a straight trajectory. At the same time, the stiffness of the ribs provides quick response to steering actions, significantly improving the predictability of the vehicle's actions during maneuvering.

The lateral zone, represented by long rectangular blocks, provides several operational characteristics at once. Firstly, it is improved maneuverability, including at high speed. Secondly, the presence of long gripping edges, located at a right angle to the road surface, significantly reduces the braking distance.

The drainage system, which has been completely redesigned, is distinguished by its effectiveness. Now, the combination of central channels and unidirectional grooves quickly collects water in the contact zone and evacuates it beyond its limits.
