Michelin LTX Force — the result of decades of racing experience, adapted to real operating conditions. The model works equally confidently on both asphalt and off-road, providing reliable traction, minimizing wear and having puncture protection.
Racing Base
Most manufacturers only declare their connection to motorsport. Michelin is the only tire brand that has won many world competitions. The "unmatched traction" technology used in the tire was literally "forged" on the gravel stages of the World Rally Championship. Engineers have transferred to the compound:
- polymer chains with high resistance to abrasive wear;
- the structure of micro-lamellae working like cleats on loose soils;
As a result, the model retains traction where competing tires start to helplessly skid.
Universal Traction
The asymmetric tread design reduces noise on asphalt, and the central blocks provide grip on rough terrain. The tire effectively evacuates water, reducing aquaplaning even with strong wear. And the angle of the soil grip, optimized for longitudinal and transverse traction, guarantees easy passage through loose soils.
Reinforced Sidewall
The model is equipped with Armor-Tek technology:
- an additional layer of high-strength cord in the shoulder area and border area;
- protruding ribs on the sidewall take on impacts when driving through deep ruts, protecting the thinnest part of the tire. On sand, they work like additional "paddles", increasing the contact patch and helping to get out of loose soil.
Main Features of Michelin LTX Force:
- provides traction even on longitudinal and transverse slopes of loose soil thanks to the use of racing technologies;
an asymmetric tread for versatility, both on asphalt and on soil;
- an additional layer of cord and cast ribs against cuts;
- due to the wear-resistant compound and tread height, the resource has been increased by 35% compared to analogs.
