The winter studded tire Michelin Agilis X-Ice North is designed for use in the most severe winter conditions on light commercial vehicles - vans and light trucks. This model allows for safe movement on any winter roads, while reducing costs due to fuel efficiency, durability, and longevity.
When developing this tire, French tire manufacturers aimed to provide a high level of safety, durability, comfort, and economy.
The predecessor of this model was the Agilis 81 Snow Ice tire, which has proven itself well in our country. Compared to it, this model has a 25% improved grip on snow. Additionally, the new tread pattern has made it possible to achieve easier vehicle handling, which has increased driving comfort. Another innovation was the increased number of studs in the Michelin Agilis X-Ice North tire, which led to improved traction on ice. At the same time, their design made it possible to extend their service life by at least a third compared to the previous model.
To improve acceleration and braking efficiency, the tire tread was equipped with three-dimensional StabiliGrip lamellas. Another design innovation was the Durable Contact Patch technology, which made it possible to increase the contact patch area and improve the even distribution of external pressure on it, increasing the tire's resource.
The sidewalls of this tire have sufficient strength to withstand aggressive mechanical impact, such as when driving onto concrete curbs.
Main features of the Michelin Agilis X-Ice North model
