The Cooper Mentor M300 summer tire is designed for passenger cars that operate in any conditions. When manufacturing this model, specialists tried to take into account all possible nuances of summer operation. Therefore, the main emphasis was placed on comfort and excellent traction. To achieve this, the latest technologies and materials were used.

Symmetric Tread Pattern

The "classic" symmetric tread design is perfect for achieving the set goals. The continuous central rib provides excellent directional stability and clear responses to steering wheel turns. The sidewall area has powerful blocks that increase stability during turns and reliably protect the Mentor M300 tire from various damages and punctures. Also, in the sidewall area, there is a special rubber ring for additional protection against curb damage.

To increase traction characteristics on a wet road surface, a new drainage system was used. Three deep grooves in the center of the tread perfectly remove water and dirt from the contact area, preventing aquaplaning. Even in heavy rain, the tire provides confident handling without wheel slippage. The massive grooves in the shoulder area increase traction during maneuvers. The increased number of lamellas across the entire tread surface not only increases traction with a wet road surface but also significantly reduces noise while driving.

Special Components in the Rubber Compound

To improve driving characteristics, new components were used in the creation of the rubber compound. Due to this, the elasticity of the tread increased, which reduced the time for its recovery and increased the traction qualities on a wet road. Also, the service life of the tire became much longer, as the wear resistance became higher. The reduction in the rolling resistance coefficient allowed for a reduction in fuel consumption during movement and an increase in driving comfort.
