Description Mentor M250
The winter tire Mentor M250 has proven itself excellently on passenger cars in the most severe winter conditions, providing excellent handling and stability. Great attention was paid to the selection of optimal components for the rubber mixture when creating the tire. It meets all world standards for quality and environmental friendliness.
Unique rubber mixture composition
The winter tire is often used at both negative and positive temperatures, so it should not lose its properties with sharp changes in weather conditions. Achieving such qualities is very difficult, so specialists spent a lot of time creating the necessary rubber mixture that would not lose its properties. The increased silica content helped increase the elasticity of the tread at any weather conditions. This improved traction with any road surface (slush, mud, ice, etc.). Also, the restorative properties of the tread and the loads on the suspension components have increased and decreased, respectively. This allowed reducing the costs of suspension maintenance. The use of silicon significantly increased the wear resistance of the tread, increasing the mileage of the tire.
Arrow-shaped tread pattern
The tread design of the Mentor M250 is distinguished by its arrow-shaped central part. Two rows of central blocks have arrow-shaped channels, which provide maximum stability when driving on any road surface. Three deep channels quickly remove water and snow from the contact patch, providing confident handling and stability. The shoulder area contains massive blocks that increase traction during maneuvers. The side part is made of a thick layer of rubber, which prevents side cuts and punctures. A large number of zigzag-shaped lamellas provide excellent traction and a minimal braking distance on ice.
Main features of the Mentor M250 tire
- an arrow-shaped central part provides confident handling and quick response to steering wheel turns;
- a new drainage system quickly removes water from the tread, preventing possible aquaplaning;
- a large number of lamellas of a zigzag shape increase the speed and braking characteristics;
- a massive side zone reliably protects the tread from cuts and tears.
