Description Mayrun MR800
The Mayrun MR800 summer tire was developed in China specifically for the North American market, where it was quite warmly received, thanks to a combination of attractive cost and decent performance. This model, due to the use of modern technologies and materials in its design, is characterized by excellent handling and traction in any weather conditions.
Universal tread pattern
The high efficiency of the Mayrun MR800 tire in any road conditions is provided by an asymmetric tread pattern, namely the presence of several functional zones in it. Each of them is responsible for a certain set of operational properties. Most of them enhance and complement each other, which ultimately allows this model to do without pronounced "weak spots".
Increased silica content
A significant part of the tire's traction properties and a number of other operational properties are provided by the physicochemical characteristics of the rubber compound. Its composition is more than half silica. This component improves the elasticity of the tread on cold wet roads, as well as traction on them. Additionally, it provides increased resistance to both abrasive and uneven wear.
Four continuous longitudinal drainage grooves
The central part of the tread of this tire contains four longitudinal drainage grooves. In addition to their large number, they are distinguished by a significant internal volume. The combination of such design features allows the tread to withstand the effect of aquaplaning, preventing its occurrence even when driving at very high speeds.
Main features of the Mayrun MR800 tire
- Asymmetric design of the tread pattern with separate functional zones provides it with increased efficiency in various road conditions;
- Excellent traction on wet roads and increased resistance to any type of wear, thanks to a compound that is more than half silica;
- Four very spacious drainage grooves in the central part of the tread prevent the occurrence of aquaplaning even at high speeds.
