The Maxxis R19R racing tire is one of two versions of the same model, designed for use in rally racing. It is intended for installation on the right side of the vehicle. It is most effective on gravel surfaces.

Optimized Tread

The tread area of the tire features an open design, characterized by a large number of small blocks and their asymmetrical arrangement. This solution provides the contact patch with numerous and very high edges, which the tire effectively grips onto the gravel surface. The large distance between the blocks allows the tread to quickly self-clean from small stones and soil particles.

The tread pattern is divided into two functional areas. On the inside, the blocks are strictly transverse to the direction of movement. This increases the efficiency of the tread when accelerating and braking. In the shoulder area on the outside, the blocks are turned, which reduces lateral slippage and makes the handling process easier during active maneuvering.

Reinforced Sidewalls

A distinctive feature of the tire is its high reliability. To a large extent, this is achieved by the reinforced construction of the sidewalls. They are characterized by both increased thickness and the use of a special rubber compound with high resistance to punctures and cuts when manufactured.
